Masters in I/O Psychology University Options
« on: February 17, 2008, 02:55:00 PM »
Hi,  im looking to pursue an MA in I/O psychology in the US or Canada. I  have an undergraduate degree in psychology from Kenya.  Would anyone know which universities, links to universities are reputable or widely accredited that i can choose from or apply for?
I'd appreciate any assistance, thank you.

Udi.

Hi Udi,

I am currently a second semester student at the University of Detroit Mercy and I am really enjoying my classes and professors. It's been an enriching experience for me thus far. I also know that Wayne State University has a I/O program as well. You can check out either of them. Both are really good schools. UDM is a private Jesuit school, where WSU is public.

I'm a student at Wayne State University in the I/O masters program.  I was accepted at Detroit Mercy as well.  I decided on Wayne because the tuition is drastically cheaper.  Detroit-Mercy was a close second though because they make it a part of their program to help their students find an internship, which is very important when pursuing a masters.  Of course the professors at Wayne will help you do the same thing, but it just isn't guaranteed.  I really like the program at Wayne.
