Looking for a Master's in I?O Psychology
« on: December 14, 2007, 04:49:00 PM »
Hello,

I have a bachelor in Business, and more than seven years of working experience in consulting.

I am interetsed in obtaining a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from a Canadian Univeirsity in Ontario preferably.

I have two questions:

1. Do you think I will have any problems given that my bachelor is in Business and not psychology?

2. Which program(s) or schools(s)  would you recommend?

Many thanks  :D

I don't know anything about Canada, but I am in an I/O Master's Program here in the United States. Our program accepts business majors, so I would assume that Canada would, too.

1. I don"t think you will have any problems. However, check the website for each program you intend to apply to. Most departments have some sort of admission requirements listed.

2. Have you looked at U. of Western Ontario? They have big names in I/O as faculty. Try the SIOP website for other programs.

Hope this helps,

Dan
