IO Masters in Florida
« on: March 20, 2009, 10:16:48 PM »
Hi All,

I am seeking to find a very good masters program in Florida. Any advice? A ranking would be very useful. So far I am familiar with UCF, FIU and FIT. I would like to know which programme is the best for someone who wants to pursue a PhD ultimately (not necessarily immediately after).

Hope to get some help.
Thanks

Probably UCF.  I know a prof who went there for a terminal masters and then went to University of Tennessee for her PhD.  The other schools might be just as good, but I'm just speaking from my own personal experiential knowledge.  UCF rejected me this year for their terminal masters, and FIT has wait-listed me (pretty much a reject too), so I am being forced to move out of state right now.  It's actually a good thing-I think, at least in my case.  I'll most likely be attending the Social-Organizational Masters at Columbia University Teachers College!

I am jsut finishing up my Masters in I/O at UCF and really liked the program. They do also try to find a job after graduation (which a few of us did) even in this economy. Let me know if you have any other quesitons!!
