APA accreditation?

I am a bit confused when it comes to I/O programs and APA accreditation. I know for many Graduate Psychology programs they need to be accredited by APA (such as Clinical), but is this true for I/O programs? I have yet to find a program that is accredited by the APA. The closest I got was one website saying that their school closely follows the SIOP section 14 guidelines. Do I/O programs have a formal accreditation process or do these programs just have to adhere to the SIOP guidelines.

yes I/O Programs follow the Siop guidelines.  Comps requires that you be competent in all 25 areas of I/O Psych.  These 25 competencies are usually broken down into 3 major categories, I Psych, O Psych and Methods.
