Hello, my name is Jan Nyvlt and I’m looking for I-O Psychology internship in US. Let me introduce myself shortly. I’m 25 years old, male, I’m from Czech republic, EU. Next month I’m up to finish M.A. in Psychology (Masaryk University in Brno, CZ, EU; 2010). I’m also bachelor of Telecommunication (Czech Technical University in Prague, CZ, EU; 2006). I have experience with running my business in the field of internet resale and gastronomy (10 employees; 2007 – 2009) and some experience with wide variety of work with people: teaching, mastering ceremonies, administration of psychological tests, psychological diagnosis, psychotherapy, AC-DC. Level of my English allows me to function fully in English speaking countries (First Certificate in English, 10 months exchange program in Las Vegas, NV USA, some experience with professional simultaneous translation English-Czech-English, etc.)
All of my experience up to now is attached to my interest in Psychology, IT and Business. In my professional carrier I would like to focus on organizational and individual processing, learning and growth both in practice and theory. I’m aware that such a profession requires advanced knowledge and skills and for that reason I want to apply for paid I-O Psychology internship program in US. I’m up to finish my school in January and so I’m interested in internship that would start whenever during 2010. I’ve found out that getting the correct visa might take a long time, therefore I need to set up everything as soon as possible.
I would like to ask you to share information with me, if you know about any person or place that is worth to contact and ask or if you have any other information about internship.
