Think that you are a stud in bed and don’t need any sex tips? Well, even the most experienced men can make these bedroom mistakes.
Not enough foreplay
This is by far the most common sex mistake that men make. They hop in bed and immediately start poking their penises at a woman. Sorry guys, but women take a lot longer to warm up than you!
There are a lot of problems with forgoing foreplay. For starters, if a woman’s vagina is not lubricated enough before penetration, it can be very painful and cause tearing. Not sexy! It also won’t be as enjoyable for either of you. Most women take a lot longer to cum than men, so dedicating enough time to foreplay means that you can ensure she gets off.
Remember, foreplay isn’t just about touching, kissing and licking. Even that can get boring and routine. Foreplay is about everything that leads up to sex. Going on a wildly fun date with your girlfriend can get her excited for sex more than any kissing would. Making dinner for your girlfriend and then doing the dishes can even be considered foreplay, since it will make her happy and turn her on for you. She might even jump on top of you before you have time to get the dish suds off your hands!
Not Taking Off Your Socks
Having someone rub their feet up and down your bare, pulsating body is hot. Having them do this while wearing socks is anything but hot! It is even weirder and gross when your socks are dirty and smelly. Plus, have you ever seen how a guy looks when he’s naked except for socks? He looks pretty damn silly!
Ignoring the Clit
When you touch her, are your fingers going inside her? When you give her oral, are you pushing your tongue into her? You’d be a lot better off focusing your attention on her clit. Surprisingly, a lot of men don’t know where the clit is (though, according to one report, women know less about the clit than men: 30% of women didn’t know where the clit was compared to 25% of men!).
The clit is pretty friggin’ amazing. In a small bump the size of a pea, there are more than 8,000 nerve endings! This is about TWICE the amount of nerve endings found in the head of the penis!!! I talked about this a bit in my post about how to make a girl cum with your mouth. You’ve got to push back the “hood” and really get at that clit. Try touching it with different pressures and motions and see how she responds.
Same Position Every Time
Changing positions isn’t about testing your agility or trying out some new gymnastics moods. When you have sex in different positions, your penis will stimulate different parts of her body and reach different depths. Some positions are also great for stimulating the clit. This is why changing positions is so important for keeping things spicy in the bedroom. It isn’t just that you are trying sex in a new way, you are feeling sex in a different way.
Not Having Condoms Ready
In this day and age, you better be using a condom with a girl you just met or are in a casual relationship with! Don’t make the sex mistake of not having the condom ready. By ready, I mean having the condom within an arm’s length of the bed. It is a serious mood killer when you’ve got to run into the next room and spend 5 minutes sorting through a drawer to find a condom. While you are at it, make sure to unwrap the box of condoms. It is incredibly frustrating when you want to get busy but can’t get the cellophane off the box!
*Remember that condoms expire after about 2-5 years. They should be kept somewhere away from heat, so don’t keep them in your wallet!
Starting Too Fast
Have you ever watched a marathon? The runners don’t go into the race at their top speed. They take it slow at the beginning then, when it is time to come in for the finish, they give it their all. Well, the same applies to sex.
Don’t immediately start pounding away at your girl the moment you enter her. It isn’t that women don’t like hard, fast sex (they do!). But they need to be worked up to it. Starting slowly is also important for proper lubrication of the penis. When you move in and out slowly, it allows your penis to get her wetness all over it, meaning sex is more comfortable and enjoyable for you both.
If you want to get a girlfriend and keep her, you better practice good hygiene. For a lot of men, this means taking a shower and putting on clean clothes. There is a lot more to good hygiene than this! One thing that men often overlook is their fingernails. YOU MUST KEEP THEM TRIM! How would you feel if you were a girl and a guy started going towards your vagina with his gangly fingernails? Or what if a girl wants to get a bit kinky by having you put a finger up her bum during sex? It ain’t gonna happen if you made the bad sex mistake of forgetting to cut your fingernails!
Not Trimming Your Pubic Hair
This one goes along with the good hygiene of cutting your fingernails. If you expect oral sex from a woman, it would be nice of you to keep those pubes groomed! As a general rule, you should trim your pubes to about ½ to 1 inch length.
DO NOT SHAVE YOUR PUBES! You know how she yelps when you kiss her with stubble? Well, imagine how it must feel to have porcupine-like stubble grinding against her most sensitive parts!
Not Kissing After Oral Sex
If you expect your girl to put her mouth on your penis, then you damn well better be prepared to kiss her afterwards! It is just plain RUDE not to kiss her afterwards.
The kissing-after-oral issue is a really tough issue for many guys. It seems like a mental hangup. I mean, if you could suck your own dick, wouldn’t you? If you think you really can’t get over it and kiss your girl after oral, then at least say no tactfully. Tell her ahead of time that it bothers you. And make sure to have a glass of water nearby so she can take a quick swig before going in for a kiss.
Thinking that STDS Won’t Happen to You
You use a condom, so you think you are completely safe from STDs? Condoms don’t protect against everything! The CDC estimates there are 110 MILLION STDS in the United States and 20 million new cases of STDs each year. HPV is the biggest one with 79 million existing infections, followed by herpes (24 million), trichomoniasis (3.7 million) and Chlamydia (1.57 million).
Do yourself and your partner a favor: GET TESTED. You can do this for free at many clinics and health centers.
Before having sex with anyone, have the STD talk. Yes, I know it is awkward but, trust me, your girl will like you a heck of a lot more if you bring it up and can show her the results of your recent STD test.
